The awards ceremony took place in Berlin on September 14, 2010 in the presence of the German Minister of Economics and Technology. The Deutscher Gründerpreis is the biggest accolade for enterprise excellence in Germany. It is awarded for exemplary achievements in the development of innovative and sustainable business ideas and in the creation of new companies.
