Romain Kremer’s SS2010 collection is inspired by the future and attempts to transcend the prevailing pessimism in the world today. To complete his collection Kremer called upon MYKITA to develop matching glasses. The ROMAIN features metal shutters, and borrows cues from traditional Inuit eyewear, which was designed solely to provide protection from dazzling sunlight and did not have conventional lenses. The very graphic and square-edged frame is inspired by the collection’s leitmotiv of protection. The ROMAIN comes in two bi-coloured versions: a matt black exterior with
a steel interior, and a steel exterior with a violet-finish interior.
